Introducing … Callum Easter, an Edinburgh based singer of otherworldly rhythm and blues. His debut PostMap postcard double A-side single ‘Here or Nowhere’ / ‘Back Beat’ will be released on November 16, 2018, and offers a taste of his extraordinary debut album Here or Nowhere, which will follow in the spring of 2019.

The first two tracks featured on his debut Lost Map single showcase two distinctive sides of his craft. ‘Here or Nowhere’ is a sparse and captivating torch song built from electronic bass drones and shivering organ, Easter’s vocals shrouded in cavernous echo, while ‘Back Beat’ is a haunting, skeletal blues experiment set to little more than the hypnotic single-string thrum of a guitar. The postcard also includes a live version of ‘Feelings Gone’ - a track from one of Easter’s earlier self-released mini-albums, previously recorded with electric organ and drum machine, now reimagined with accordion and vocal.
